Board the elegant Cai Be Princess sampan for a serene cruise along the Delta’s scenic waterways. As you glide past stilt houses, lush canals, and traditional workshops, experience the quiet rhythm of life in the Mekong region. After exploring the waterways, traditional workshops, and a lunch at Le Longanier Restaurant, the journey takes a sweet turn towards a local cacao farm. Here, you’ll meet the farmers, learn about the cacao growing process, and see how the beans are turned into chocolate. The visit to the cacao farm adds a rich, educational layer to your Mekong Delta exploration, making for an unforgettable day of adventure and indulgence.

Please Note: The tour begins at 8:00 AM and concludes around 5:00 PM. The tour includes cycling. The Cacao farmer is subject to availability; in the event of his absence, we will visit a coconut candy workshop.

Experience the vibrant energy of the Mekong in the early morning and savour Chau Doc’s charm at night.
Start your day with a peaceful cruise to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest and busiest in the Mekong Delta. Arriving at its peak, you’ll witness colourful boats loaded with fruits and vegetables from across the region. Take in the action from different vantage points, observing the unique pole-and-basket displays used to advertise each boat’s produce. On your return journey, cruise slowly along the canals, passing stilted river homes and glimpses of daily life. Go ashore for a visit to a local market before heading back to the resort late in the morning. After check-out, transfer by road to Chau Doc and check in at Victoria Chau Doc Hotel. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure to relax and enjoy the hotel’s riverside location.

Spend a relaxed morning at your leisure, enjoying the tranquil riverside setting of Victoria Chau Doc Hotel. Take time to unwind by the pool, explore the nearby streets, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this border town steeped in culture and history.
At midday, transfer to Victoria Nui Sam Lodge for a private lunch served in a hilltop gazebo, offering panoramic views across lush rice fields and into neighbouring Cambodia. After lunch, visit a serene Khmer monastery nestled at the foot of Sam Mountain, where you’ll learn about the importance of Buddhism in local life. In the afternoon, continue to Tra Su Forest, a pristine 850-hectare flooded reserve teeming with birdlife. Travel by boat through submerged cajeput forests covered in a soft green carpet of water plants—an enchanting and peaceful experience unique to this part of the Mekong Delta.
